Eu

Eu încerc să mușc tăcerea
și să rup din tine
din mine
din distanța dintre noi

Tu
la celălalt capăt al luminii
eu
îți zâmbesc șiret
dimineața oamenii normali
se trezesc
doar eu merg la culcare

Why fantasies are always so impossibly romantic and exaggerated? Why do I absorb impressions and feelings like a sponge? Why does it take so much time for me to learn from experience? Why do I always slump back into my chair, happy and exhausted, and I dream? Dreams. Do they replace torrents of tears and hysteria? Or maybe they are the only things worth living for? In fact, my main interest in life is seeing if I can make my dreams come true. The sad fact is that when trying to make them real, they seem so dull by comparison with dreaming them, kind of like reading a book for a second time. And then, I secretly plant ideas in your imagination and watch them blossom. I don't have any future without you. I love you.

Daniel Sannwald

i wish i would have this new book

it is totally the photographer of the day for me

German-born photographer Daniel Sannwald

has emerged as one of the unique voices in contemporary photography. Working within the realm of fashion photography, without being restricted by its conventions, his images seek to merge fashion and art that result in surreal dreamscapes that are always memorable and thought-provoking. Having compelted his studies at the Royal Academy in Antwerp, Sannwald went onto to contribute for i-D, Vogue Hommes Japan, V, Qvest and of course Dazed (his shoot for Fashion's New Optimism can be seenhere). Over a ten year period, Sannwald has accumulated images that he has now reinterpreted into a book published by Heroes with texts written by Cecilia Dean, Ashley Heath and Sannwald himself. It investigates his interest in digital collaging as well as a more traditional retrospective.

Tina Kalivas’ unique origami fashion

Folded, dyed and folded again, Tina Kalivas unique fashion origami finds its roots in a layered drum beat for A/W 2010. From Afghanistan to Japan, Tina’s influences are culturally disparate as season after season she traverses the compelling and rich terrain of precious ethnicity. Her new collection, 'Polyrhythm', takes style to the beating heartbeat of the African savannah and its tribal underbelly, where somewhere on the distant horizon straining ears can pick up the steady sound of drums and dusty, stamping feet.

her pictures are amazing

Lynn Davis

Lynn Davis began her photography career as an apprentice to the aforementioned Berenice Abbott, a very influential landscape photographer. Lynn took off in the same direction, creating large-scale B+W landscapes. Her photographs are distinct for the great tonal range she is able to capture in a black and white photograph. Davis is excellent with composition as well. Although being primarily known as a landscape photographer, Lynn Davis is also known for her portrait work in the Middle East, Australia, Africa, and other parts of Asia.
